What went down at Boheme

Last January 30, 2010 the unconventional happened in RCBC Hexagon Lounge as music and art collided into producing something wonderful. UP JMA Team Pubevent’s Bohème, a one-night non-traditional exhibit and black lights party changed the college party landscape as it served to culminate Viva La Vie Bohème, the organization’s installation art contest that was opened to all college students.

In Bohème, dreams came to life in the form of bohemian-inspired installation art pieces displayed in RCBC Hexagon lobby; people wrote about their eccentricities and fantasies on black walls using chalk that glows against black lights enabling bursts of colors in the backdrop.

The event was highlighted by a performance from Rent the Musical for that bohemian vibe. As with the awesome beats and music, drummers from Kuwago, Tonight We Sleep and Enemies of Saturn captivated the audience along with I Love You X Future’s DJs Chie Castaneda and Diego Mapa from Pedicab.

Bohème was co-presented by 9 Works Theatrical, I Love You X Future, Azta Urban Salon and Southern Comfort in cooperation with John Robert Powers and Party Shaker Mobile Bar. It was also made possible by Capteme Photo Booth, Click ‘d Fun Photobooth, Rage Lights and Sounds and Hotshots, together with its media partners:Underground Radio 105.9, NU 107, RX 93.1, Status, Bounce, Garage, Clickthecity.com, Code-Limited.com,
